God's Promise

“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’ Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NASB)

This powerful passage was addressed to the nation of Israel as they found themselves oppressed in Babylon due to their own disobedience. And yet God's message was one of hope and promise, not condemnation!

Like the ancient Israelites, we live in tumultous times. Some of our struggles are the result of our own self-centeredness. Others are unavoidable because of the broken world surrounding us.

Search for Me Ministries exists because, regardless of any current circumstances, we believe that God has awesome plans to fulfill in the lives of people all over this earth. But God's plans for our lives aren't automatic. We're called to journey beyond our own small existence in search of the heart, mind and purposes of God.

This faith walk of ours is no stroll in the park; at times we find ourselves severely challenged. But as we journey together with God, in search of God, we find ourselves transformed into the eternal image of Christ--no trite goal.

It is our desire to help facilitate your spiritual growth through our SfMe Media resources. Be it Bob's Hidden Trails blog, The Search for Me identity series, or any of our upcoming books, we think you'll find it a growing adventure to partner with our ministry efforts.

The Search for Me—A Journey Toward a Rock Solid Identity is a fantastic small group DVD resource for people of all backgrounds from mature high school and older. Our next publishing endeavors will be a couple of books titled The TouchPoint--Connecting With God Through the Bible and Say Good-bye to Regret--Seeking the Heart and Mind of God.  Both are now in development and are proving to be highly effective in touching all who are seeking to learn God’s ways!

Be encouraged if the beat of your heart is to grow as an authentic disciple of Jesus Christ! No matter how things look, our God always has a plan. We consider ourselves priviledged to play a role in what He is doing (and going to do) in our world!
